Our Story

A Dominican born fashion designer. She began her studies at Mercy Jacquez Fashion Institute and, in 2003, graduated Suma Qum Laudem from Altos de Chavón School of Design. Her fashion career began with her first collection Dolls in 2006, and then was followed by Circus Dolls in 2007. A year later, she was granted the Best Collection of an Emerging Designer Award at the Dominican Republic Fashion Week with her collection Mansion Pouppe. The same year, she showcased this line at both the Panama Fashion Week and the Miami Fashion Week. Her later collections, Senses in 2010 and the 2011 Fall-Winter collection, earned her broad media coverage in Latin America. In 2012, Belkola had the opportunity to work alongside designer icon Oscar de la Renta in New York City. To further expand her Belkola brand in the United States, she established residence in Miami in 2013. From her new home, she created a collection inspired by the strength and finesse of a queen bee a year later.
